Making Tracks - Performing Place
(2009-2010)

Drawing on the spatial theories of geographers and town planners this project explores the idea of “site as a performed place”. Working with community groups the routine journeys of members, travelling to and from their meeting place, were traced as they moved through space and time. Mapping these movements reveals a form unique to each community. This form describes both the community's domain and its relationship with its surrounding environment.
